Our knowledgeable and caring staff is devoted to fostering intellectual, social, physical, emotional and language development in each child. In order to attain this goal, teachers and parents together work to assess and enhance each child’s individualized developmental process. In order for children to develop properly, they need to become involved in a myriad of hands-on experiences provided by the teacher. The teacher will act as a guide and/or a facilitator. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the developmental process by learning all aspects of our child care program.

There are a number of goals and objectives that must be met in order to fulfill our commitment for the healthy development of the whole individual. Some of the goals for the children are as follows:

  • Development of positive self-concept
  • Development of social skills; encouraging kindness toward others
  • Encouragement of children’s thinking, reasoning, questioning and experimenting
  • Enhancement of physical development
  • Demonstration and encouragement of sound health, safety and nutritional practices
  • Respect of cultural diversity
  • Encouragement of creative expression and appreciation for the arts
